Jesus, is this faith worth all the controversy?

Another child down, another defence out,
Another barricading of the truth,
We are all brothers, and sisters,

The bible isn’t so bulletproof,
And neither is my prayer.

Blood flies and martyrs cry,
The last words they’ll ever scream.
Fighting under the name of a saviour?
Surely He was here to save that.
